Members of the Boston SAMPE Chapter are invited to attend and contribute their ideas and suggestions for the upcoming season.

2009-2010 Boston SAMPE Board of Directors

Job Descriptions - Board Members

1.      Chapter Chairman – 1 year term – Must organize all Chapter Meetings, meet with parties interested in SAMPE and our Chapter and help the Executive Board make Chapter decisions.

 2.      Chapter Co- Chairman – Responsible to assist the Chapter Chairman in the operation of the Chapter and recruit qualified speakers for Chapter meetings

 3.      Treasurer – Maintain all finances for the Chapter including financial reporting at chapter meetings and year end financial reporting to the SAMPE IBO.

 4.      Secretary / Webmaster– Maintain Chapter website www.bostonsampe.org and send out meeting announcements.

 5.      Sponsor Chair: Maintain contact with each chapter sponsor with goal of renewing sponsorship annually. Invoice and keep accurate records for each sponsor. Ensure that each sponsor receives promotion on Boston chapter website and each issue of Boston chapter newsletter. 

6.      National Director – 2 year term – Must be able to attend the National SAMPE meetings  and the SAMPE Board of Directors Meetings and represent the Boston Chapter.

 7.     National Director – 2 year term – Must be able to attend the National SAMPE meetings  and the SAMPE Board of Directors Meetings and represent the Boston Chapter. 

 8.     UML Faculty Advisor(s) - Faculty liaison between Boston SAMPE and UML Plastics and Engineering Department

 9.     UML Student Chapter - Student liaison between Boston SAMPE and UML engineering students.

 10.  Member-at-Large - Assist Board members, on an as needed – when available basis, with various tasks necessary to run the chapter events.
